Review on 10.5 oz Bernat Blanket Stripes Yarn, Teal Deal - Super Bulky Chunky, Gauge 6 by Hannah Curi

I've seen a lot of posts and pins about reusable eco-friendly water balloons. I thought I'd try. I had to play around with the loose pattern a bit to find a way that fits my tight crochet style, but ended up getting a bunch with the K hook and some modifications. I made about 16 balls out of this cake. My 12 year old son thought they might suck but after trying them he called them "epic". They wash well (even with pine needles stuck in them after a big fight) and dry beautifully. Then they soak up the water for the next round. I will probably buy more because this "lame" project turned out to be so much fun and the kids want to use it more with their friends. Hooray!
