Before that I read several reviews about it. This is a universal battery holder. This means you may need to make some changes. It's beautiful, durable and works well. The terminal screws are very long so you will probably have to cut them off. I just slipped them in and marked about an inch higher - took them out and cut them off. Light. Clamp bolts are L-shaped rather than J-shaped or hook-shaped. Light. I just clamped them in a vise and hit the end with a hammer. Boom, they're now J to V shaped at the end and hook up perfectly. The battery holder has ribs that prevent you from tightening the wing nuts. To solve this problem you can stack washers or a nut and washer, or you can just flatten the tabs with a hammer in the same vise you just used to bend the ends. Light. It was quite fun reading the reviews as they are universal and will likely require some tweaking to make it work. The only downside was they didn't include a thick washer to ride under the wing nut. That would solve the burr problem. And in the picture it was. The rest is holding up quite well. With all the modifications, the installation took about 15 minutes.
