I don't know about the cost yet, just stalled a week ago. Note that the hose adapters that come with the filter I received are 3/8 inch. I use a 5/16" fuel line so I had to buy different adapters but knew that beforehand and bought them with the filter. Tighten the hose adapters several times or they will leak. I had to make a fixture but that's fine, just be careful where you mount it so it doesn't smack (tyres, mower deck, lift arms, etc.) I installed it on my Kabota BX series tractor because it uses two cheap in-line filters , which freeze almost every winter from condensation. Now I see and drain the water. Let's see how it works when it falls back to 0*!
