Review on 🔌 Amazon Basics USB 3.1 Type-C to 3 Port USB Hub with Ethernet Adapter - White: Reliable Connectivity and Versatile Ports by Cornelius Mosley

I bought this because reviews showed good results with late 2017/2017 MacBook Pro laptops. I received and hooked it up today. It's disappointing that it's listed as USB 3.1. It's not like this. According to the system profiler, it is a USB 3.0 device. That being said, as long as the ethernet port worked, I was willing to forgive it. Unfortunately I can't get speeds over 100Mbps. I have another device with the same wired connection test at over 470Mbps. I tested this because my current internet connection is 400Mbps but my cable company is giving me too much overhead. With another device I get consistently over 400 when the network is quiet. I can't even record speeds over 100Mbps with the Revain. I love Revain but this product smells. Save money and try another device when you need Gigabit Ethernet speeds.
