I make my own hands. The wife wanted hardware added to the kitchen cabinets and drawers. This thing saved my life. I had to watch a few YouTube videos to learn how to use it - the instructions that come with it are fine, but I'm a monkey, see, a monkey is that type of guy. Just make sure you're not an idiot like me and mark the sides of the cabinet doors you will be drilling BEFORE you drill. At first I was very careful, but then I went crazy - in my haste I damaged two cabinet doors by drilling the wrong side. My fault is not the instrument. This instrument is VERY accurate despite being mostly plastic. I would highly recommend to the do-it-yourselfer. I see an advantage in having an all metal. If I bought it again I would probably choose this one. But it's still a very good tool.
