I am not sure if I received a bad item or what exactly happened. I got my light in today and put batteries in and the light was very weak and the motion sensor seemed to not be very sensitive to turn on. I had to tap it on the back with my hand in order to turn it on. I tried two different sets of new batteries and they were both the same.This light was intended to put in the garage above my chest freezer so that it would have some illumination from above when digging around to find the long lost frozen bacon that my wife swears we have in there. There is no way this is going to provide any helpful light in that situation.I think and hope that I may have gotten a bad unit, given all of the great reviews talking about how bright this light is. I will update this review if I just ended up getting dud. I sure hope it is because that bacon is not going to find itself!UPDATE 5/20/15:The company reached out to me and it does sound like I maybe received a bad one. They are sending me a replacement. I will update when it comes in.UPDATE 6/1/2015The replacement came last week and works much better. The light is slightly brighter, which I am pleased with and the motion sensor now works flawlessly. I am very impressed with their customer support and how they stand behind their product. I am updating from 1 of 5 starts to 4 of 5 stars (not 5 because of getting a bad one initially and having to go through the process to get a working one).
