You get what you pay for. My dog ate the back seat belt in my car and I wanted to fix it. Unfortunately, this required removing the upholstery from the seat to gain access to the seat belt retractor. And that required replacing the "pig rings" that held the fabric in place. I'm glad I only had to do one seat. These pliers were very rough and did not hold rings securely - I dropped them many times! I also had to "tighten" most of the rings with needle nose pliers as they were never fully compressed with the tool. But I fixed the seat belt, reapplied the upholstery and everything looks fine. But if I was doing more than one place I would choose a more expensive tool.
