As mentioned in the IAC ports about the knife blade, the edges were roughly trimmed with a rotary file by the looks of it! As far as I know this only controls the idle circuit and I don't see a problem, but what worries me is that the lack of finishing work leaves it with a rough finish! I've seen a lot of complaints about the stiff idle spring and don't see a problem, and a stiffer accelerator pedal will be fine as it should wear out a bit as it wears out. The coolant hose connectors are completely useless to me as the bottom one works synchronously. Right behind my $400 alternator I shouldn't rule out the features of a brand new part as it will become unserviceable and the coolant connections will not time well! My understanding is that the coolant in the throttle body is for cold weather applications and is not needed in PNW imo, but I could very well be wrong!
