they are strong. Perfect for my project. The only thing I don't care about is that they can't be taken apart, so you can't remove the drawer or whatever you attach it to. I suppose it's a tricky thing with 500lb rails, so it's less of a 'problem' and more of 'be aware' that it's the only way, a crate or whatever unscrew it while it is off the rails.
