Review on ๐ŸŒฟ Superior 11-1020 Leaf Helper Spring with 1500 lb. Load Capacity by Dustin Lannan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Light and reasonable support for heavier loads. But noisy when loading!

These helper springs were bought for a 1600 mile family trip. They installed easily, took about 1 hour either side of my driveway including jacking. It took a 1/2" socket and wrench and a very deep 3/4" socket. No additional tools are required. just a jack and a jack. The 1020s raised the car about 1/2 inch over the stock 100 mph springs to give about 2 to 300 pounds of extra lift over stock, a little less than I was hoping for a setup without adding a pin . Not a big fan of the single point lift pin design. Previously they made a BAD noise when fully loaded which allowed the back to fall off with an extra 800lbs on the back (400lbs people and 400lbs cargo). gear, but works perfectly with and without a load. I'll be deleting them for good soon. Maybe a double sided type (1030 I think) would be a better choice. Van.Video on You Tube helped a bit with the install.CheersDean
