Review on Mishimoto MMHOSE-SUB-IHBL Silicone Subaru WRX/STI 🔵 Induction Hose (2001-2007 WRX, 2004-2015 STI) - Blue by Bob Schultz

I had to remove the air intake to fit it. I wouldn't force/tear it into that bottleneck. I'm not giving a star for that as it was to be expected. Some people say you can bend and squeeze these hoses, but I didn't want to risk it. just a few small problems with setting ports. 1) The bypass port could be a bit closer to the end of the turbo. 2) The PCV breather may be closer to the front of the car, it's pressed against my intake manifold. I can't move the intake further away from the turbo because the turbo can't move and the bypass port is already stuck on the other side. 3) The solid fitting that goes to the purge valve is also too close to the intake manifold being pushed against it, same goes for #2.4) The ferrule to the airflow tube could have been 1/8-1/4" larger in diameter it had, I was worried it wouldn't fit my standard pipe but my standard pipe was compressed airtight around it so it might not even have been a plumbing issue.I would buy it again, it's quality workmanship and plumbing issues don't do much harm.
