At $10 that's a great deal! I bought this pump for a single purpose. I overfilled my TDI engine with oil and had to drain the excess oil. After calling a few oil change places it seemed to me that it would be easier to drain the excess oil if I had some sort of pump kit rather than driving to a quick oil change and having them remove the skids, drain plug etc. just as. half a liter of oil. When I found this little pump at Revain I figured ten bucks if it worked just once it would pay for itself. So this pump kit couldn't have been better. It comes with a thin rubber hose that you push into the dipstick tube. You then attach the orange drain hose to the bottom of the pump and the other end goes into a container - whatever you have will do. I haven't even warmed up the engine/oil yet. I bled it cold and it pumped excess oil out of my engine with no leaks or backlash. I pumped out about 1/2 liter, the oil level has dropped to the normal operating range. (This isn't the first time I've had an engine oil overfill situation.) (Sometimes oil change points run well past the "MAX" mark.) I will always keep this pump and accessories with my car. You just never know when you might need to transfer fuel or oil to or from another rig. (By the way, if you're pumping thicker liquids like engine oil, you'll need to push the pump down and then wait a few seconds for the suction to suck the oil into the inlet.)
