But after following the installation instructions it connected and works just as well as some of the slides I scanned at Sam's Club.

After reading the reviews I was skeptical, I have windows 7 and had some trouble connecting the device but after following the installation instructions it connected and it works just as well as some of the slides I scanned at Sam's Club a few years ago you have to be persistent to set them up. 4 stars for this money!
