This is a wonderful bag for knitters. Especially if I'm making a lot of blankets or using very large spools of thread. I like that there is no zipper at the top. Well, for some this may be a disadvantage. I tend to force my garden to zip or get in the way. I just wanted a large, sturdy bag that could stand on its own, have straps, be portable, and hold large spools of thread along with my project. This bag makes it easy. This is a great bag for any crochet or knitting enthusiast. Whether you only use it at home or want a bag to take with you on the go, that's all. Again, there's no zipper, but for me it's definitely a plus, and there's plenty of storage compartments inside, and it's quite large on the outside. i love this bag
