I will update the review once I have a new replacement. The item was received about a month early (it was said to be in stock in about a month but it was delivered in about a week) and there was no damage or anything on the box. However, when I cleaned up my desk, hooked everything up to a monitor and booted it up. The plate was obviously damaged (see photo). Oddly enough, there was no physical damage to the screen itself or the back of the monitor, so I think that's how it was shipped. Chat agent Revain was quick to order a replacement but currently says it's out of stock by November (hoping to get lucky again and get something in stock sooner). It's no fun packing everything up and lugging it to the UPS store, that's for sure. Undamaged areas looked nice, there were no dead pixels. so I'm very disappointed that it turned out this way. The sound was pretty good (for monitor speakers). Like I said, I'll go ahead and edit my review once I have a replacement on my hands and up and running. UPDATE: Got the replacement monitor today and got it working. No dead pixels (ooh) and no screen tearing like my first monitor. The sound comes out of the speakers (for the monitor) and is nice. I've only played Hades and World of Warcraft games so far and everything runs smoothly. Very good.
