Works great with my Netgear R7000 router. I have 2 external drives, WD 4TB Easystore and WD 4TB My Book. So far everything is working fine in my network. It was just plug and play with Windows 7 and 10. Aluratek allowed me to put my external drives in one place for the whole network to see instead of being tied to one PC. I originally bought it for my Lorex NVR to run more NVR devices but it didn't work for some reason (probably a bad or broken port). After trying to find the best selection of USB port extenders, I'm glad I followed other reviewers' choices and settled on the Aluratek USB 4-Port 3.0 SuperSpeed Hub. The price was good.
