I took my 2016 Hyundai Elantra to the dealership & they wanted over $200 just to look at my trunk that wouldn’t open & that wouldn’t include the parts if something needed to be ordered so I passed on it. I had 62,000 miles on it & they said my warranty expired at 60,000 miles. No empathy there from the dealership Luckily, my husband realized when he pushed on the button on the trunk it would click then click again. If he pushed up hard after the first click he could get it open before the second click. I ordered this part on Walmart & watched a video on how to replace it, well actually my husband did it & it worked! Please if you have a trunk problem with your Hyundai, believe in yourself & try to fix it yourself. I think there is an issue with this part and it is definitely a design flaw. No way to get in the trunk if it won’t open other than going through the back seats which a a HUGE hassle. Glad we didn’t have to do that. I recommend this product highly!
