Review on πŸ”₯ Optimizing ESUN Filament Dehydration for Printing by Brandon Ball

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Best 3D printing consumables I've found

PROS: The pockets are big enough to hold all my filament. Others I tried were very dense. The pump is really good, good quality. The bags seem to be holding a vacuum so far. However, there is not much time to say for sure. I will come back and update in a week. CONS: The vacuum port has nothing to help you seal and remove air. So if you put it on a flat surface, you can't get it to pull the vacuum. If you can stick it on the edge of a spool of thread you can make it work, but it's not easy. I started by printing a flat washer on the top with a hole and radial slots on the bottom to let the air out but still keep the pump sealed. The downside is that you have to print one for each pocket since it's inside the pocket. Update: I've been using them for over three months now and they still hold a vacuum. I had one that wouldn't allow me to pull air out after the fourth reuse and I had to throw it away. But for keeping your floss dry, they're great.
