I have been crocheting blankets for many years and would love to try the S loom to knit blankets. I've never mastered knitting so this was the perfect solution for me. The instructions are easy to follow and I appreciate not having to hook the hook in separately. I've been using this machine for almost 2 months and so far I'm satisfied. At first I tried using one strand of Vannas Gobelingarn but switched to two strands when the loops became too loose. My goal is to make a thick wool blanket that is cozy in winter. I agree with other reviewers about the knitting in the corners. I keep turning the loom to knit these sections and the inner parts of the S. It's not a big deal as this loom is compact enough that I can carry it on my lap. The reason I give this loom 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the pins at the top. They are too small compared to other looms, causing the yarn to slip and unravel when I reach the end of the row. To counteract this, I E-wrap section by section, hold the end down and knit before moving on to the next section of pins that need to be E-wrapped. Despite this problem, I can knit rows fairly quickly.
