I bought this for my 2009 Scion tC. After the engine light came on, I thought it was serious. I took it to my trusted mechanic and he told me it was probably just a gas cap. I removed the old cover and put the new one on. I reset the code on my car and the light hasn't come on since. It was very cheap and this cap lasted me for a while. It may not have a seat belt, but you don't need one. I've never left my hat on the roof of my car and I'm definitely a forgetful person. I would definitely buy this product again!
