This was a replacement for a cracked sun on my 2007 Silverado. As I bought a used truck I can't tell if this footpeg came with the truck but after much searching I found that this footpeg fits my footpeg due to the tread pattern. Check carefully to get an exact match. The hardest part of the installation was removing the damaged tread, which I ended up cutting off with wire cutters and a flat head screwdriver. Then I put the old pegs in the footrest and left them. The new profile's pins simply push into the holes in the metal footpeg, but they need to be the right steps so the holes line up.
