Review on Enhance Performance and Safety with the Monroe 906983 Strut Mount by Jim Escobedo

Complete junk. Installed it on my 2005 Cooper S and had to take it off after two months because the rubber was so soft it didn't support the strut mount. The protective cap on the stand mount should be 3/8 to 1/2 inch BELOW the stand post. These brackets had the protective cap 1/8" ABOVE my rack post. This is over 1/2" difference. I'm not sure what their rubber compound is, but it is NOT strong enough to use as a replacement for the Cooper strut mount to be used.
