It works but had to modify for my racks. You will probably need to file the two inner pins 1/16" or more or the bushing will not slide on the shaft. After I did that, it worked great. Another user noticed this issue, so I expected it to show up and used a flat file to adjust it. The piston rod on many struts is slightly larger than the area between the inner bolts, probably because it was made for smaller struts. The stem that attaches to the bushing was a fairly similar size to the piston stem on my new stock. If you connect the shank of the tool to the socket and look down at the pipe, you will see that the pins protrude further than the inside diameter of the pipe. Grind it a little and it's fine.
