Review on 🚀 Continental OE Technology 4060882 6-Rib, 88.2" Multi-V Belt: High-Performance Power Transmission Solution by Marc Cahoon

I have a 2003 Toyota Sequoia and have been struggling with a squeaking/clicking for four months. I asked the dealer to replace my timing belt back in January and as part of that replacement they also replaced the serpentine belt with a Dayco OEM belt. About a month later, I started hearing a squeaking noise on the lower left side of the engine when the engine speed was over 1500 RPM, and this noise gradually increased. After trying to isolate the noise and deciding the belt was new, I replaced the alternator. There was still noise on the left side. Then he replaced the tensioner, it still makes noise, the tensioner pulley, now the noise has gotten worse. Then I replaced the power steering pump. At this point the noise changed from a squeak to a metallic "click" believing I had a bad repair I changed it to another (under warranty), the noise was still there. At that point I gave up and went back to the dealer. The dealer left it overnight and after much "research" concluded that it was "probably" the alternator but possibly the power steering pump. They wanted $730 to replace the alternator but I declined. At a loss I decided to try this belt as there was basically nothing to replace it with. THE NOISE IS GONE IMMEDIATELY! I am very satisfied and will never try another type of belt again. Also, this belt arrived branded "Continental" not Goodyear, but the belt looked the same and I clearly had no performance issues. Absolutely delighted.
