As a Samsung Galaxy S8+ user, this power adapter works GREAT! I bought it to play video games on my PS4 remotely that weren't limited to Peggle, as the latency introduced by Wi-Fi made it impossible to play anything more demanding in terms of response. Connecting my phone and the USB-C to mini USB OTG cable from my Dual Shock 4 to this adapter works great, allowing me to play a variety of games with little to no lag or screen tearing. a controller with a phone attached to it, and then this adapter plugged into a phone with an ethernet cable attached to it, but it works if you're willing to use forearm strength to hold it.
