Review on 🔒 Secure Your Trailer with Trimax THP2XL Keyed Alike Trailer Door Lock - Pack of 2 by Get Maldonado

I've only had this lock for 4 weeks (purchased the first week of March - this review date is April 3rd). I needed to add (2) a hydraulic ramp to my toy RV dump truck. When I received the locks I was very impressed. They're heavy, feel well made, and cost less than "big name" brands. I picked up my motorhome from storage yesterday (04/02) and was shocked to see that in just four weeks the locking pins had already rusted through. . One lock was even difficult to open, it was so rusty. When both were opened, "rusty water" flowed out, and the rusty water seeped into the square back of the lock (where the exposed pin engages the ramp doorknob when locked). I have to update this review in a few months but there is no solution at the moment. I highly doubt they will last longer than this summer season. Maybe indoors (in a storage room) or somewhere where the locks are not exposed to the elements would be fine. Outdoors, if I could go back a month I'd spend more and buy the big name version. BTW I sprayed Lube One on the locks hoping to slow the rust and keep them for at least a season.
