A cumbersome piece of junk that only looks good on my door

I bought this lock in July and 3 months later gave it a rave review. A month after the enthusiastic review, our 4 month old lock started to fail. I changed the batteries and it went downhill from there. This lock kept beeping. Sometimes 15 times in a row, sometimes 25 times in a row, sometimes 10 times. Do you understand. With each series of beeps, I went through the troubleshooting guide and did what it said, but to no avail. I called Kwikset and they said to do a factor reset and then reset the lock again. I have reset this lock 7 times and the problem with constant beeps persists along with the intermittent availability of the keyboard (i.e. you often press the keyboard to log in and nothing happens). Now with another set of batteries it doesn't do anything (no beep, no keyboard) and we use the button to enter again. I contacted the seller and received no response. Revain said to send it back but when I explained I don't have a lock. Send me a new one and I'll send the defective one back. I have not received any response from them to this suggestion. DO NOT BUY THIS LOCK LIKE WHAT PEOPLE SAID IN THE 1 AND 2 STAR PRICES!
