Review on Rousseau 5000 Solution Miter Silver by Everald Mendez

I am very impressed with how well this works. I installed it on a Ridgid 10 inch miter saw. Before my workshop full of hand tools was always littered with sawdust, every surface, high or low, continued to progress dusty. Dust rose in the women's sections, which negatively affected Summich's production. No longer. This hood catches 99% of the sawdust, which is now very rarely on the floor. Most of the sawdust from a miter saw exits the sides of the blade, so your bag or even your vacuum will only pick up a small amount. Overall performance: excellent. The instructions are nonsensical, there are no examples of how this attached to your particular saw, and my google computer didn't come across any Ridgid mounts. I scratched the back of my head for a while to make sure everything it was mounted on allowed all cuts, even bevels. After what felt like forever it finally dawned on me, I hope the photos attached to this review will help other Ridgid saw owners. Saw movement range: 95% still working. There is only a 45° connection bevel to the left, which is not possible with my current mount configuration. So only when I have to fully extend the saw, which only happens with large strips. But the same cut can be made on the right side. Overall: 4.9 stars. The instructions and their YouTube videos are rubbish. It's mounted on a Ridgid 2.5" specialty vacuum with an iVac automatic vacuum made a reality. The saw turns on, the vacuum cleaner turns on after 2 seconds, the saw turns off, the workshop vacuum cleaner turns off after 8 seconds. I used a 4" Fernco coupler and a Woodstock W1044 4 to 2 1/2" adapter. The construction feels very solid which is worth the price. If you need a clean workshop or job site this is it this is perfect for you.
