This line was purchased to replace my old Starrett line that was lost. I've looked everywhere for this old rule, 3 or 4 times, and ordered a new one as soon as I resigned myself to the fact that it no longer existed. Don't do a lot of marking work, but typically use an edge gauge to position the router tool over the workpiece and use stepped handwheels to move the table/workpiece as needed. Check the position of the tool before starting tool operation. With a little care, this tool will last you a lifetime, and the modest price tag will fade from memory the moment you pick it up. * Found this lost rule but I don't regret for a second that I have 2 of them, one at work and the other at home on the bench.
