Bought this product to make brick molds for my model railway. Before using it, I went online to find out how to use it. A few things to keep in mind when creating a cast of something. First, make sure the pattern is clean. Second, spray some silicone spray (from an auto parts store). Thirdly, you need to apply several layers of the product. I found 15 layers worked well. Do not forget to spread the material in a thick layer. The container isn't designed for use with a brush so I poured some into an old pill bottle and used a 3/8" paintbrush. I let each coat dry and cure for at least 3 hours. The material is white when applied and dries .The finished shape separated straight from the drawing.I made plaster casts,I used an old towel and stacked it to keep it in shape.It worked great!The most important thing to remember is to take your time .
