That's right, I haven't connected it yet, but I set the switch to "dash". Here are some images of Gen 2 Xterra. It's located to the left of the steering wheel, where some of the extras on pricier Xterra models have their controls. I think he's strong. 1/2 hole drilled. worked fine Pulled up what was easy. I wish it was a little firmer, but that might not have been possible with the plastic on the back. The Xterra plate angle and straight metal could pose a problem here. The red looks better than expected. The on/off works well with the red plastic cover. Just a solid switch. (Probably already said it twice.) Works fine and I'll update the ones I've hooked up to the compressor. Recommended so far. Gave a friend to a friend with a Land Rover L3.
