not as shown on the o-rings

These o-rings were flat and not ring shaped as shown. I used them to replace o-rings on my double Breville boiler and they didn't work like I was hoping. I contacted the company and received no response. I even used the contact information on the card that came with the product and got an automated reply saying the email address is invalid. I'd love to work this out with someone, but I haven't had the opportunity.
