Works for Honda Pilot 2007!

This fits my ex's 2007 Honda Pilot, although Revane says it doesn't. Honda Garage does not sell these switches. They told me to replace the entire module for about $90. Symptoms: The driver card light did not come on when the door was opened, but functioned normally with the switch. Research has shown me that this strange problem is quite common on Honda vehicles. And the solution was to replace the switch. So my choice was to spend $12 for a theory test or $90 for a full module. The next challenge was to find a switch that would work in the 2007 pilot. Although Revane said they wouldn't work, they turned out to be the same as the stock switch. I dared and everything worked perfectly. To replace the switch, carefully remove the lens with a small screwdriver or knife. Carefully remove by prying near the two "loops". They come off easily if you pry them open in the right place. Unscrew the 4 screws, disconnect the two electrical connectors (do not pull the cables!). The entire assembly will fall out at once. You need to slide the module out of the case using the 4 tabs. It comes out with little effort. After making sure you have the correct switch, use a small screwdriver or knife to pry the switch off the side. It seems that it doesn't move, and then it pops out. The middle pin on the module is prone to corrosion, so you can carefully scrape off the corrosion. Do not bend the pins! Plug the switch in all the way and set everything. READY! The whole job takes less than half an hour. Aside from the stress of working on the head, this is an easy task. And cheap.
