Messy mechanism for door hardware and locks

Packaging says Easy to install. It's almost impossible to keep the piston and linkage in place when installing the bolt. Plan on some tools and mechanical skills to do this. Best I can do is three stars as the plunger/lock is very sloppy and I doubt it offers much security.
