Review on Premium Soft Grip Floral Crochet Hook Set with 12 Hooks by Quilted Bear: Various Sizes Included by Denise Davis

These hooks are beautiful and colorful. However, the very first hook I used (4mm H) has a ridge under the hook that picks up and grabs the yarn on each stitch. Every embroiderer knows this is frustrating! I can see the placement of the beautiful tone going beyond the point that defines the hook's size, and that's almost where I hold the hook to sew. Clay is therefore of little use for my sewing method. I will keep this set and hope that there are no more defects on the hooks. A very nice clay addition, but I probably wouldn't recommend buying it for another embroiderer. I'll try to smooth the ridge but I think it's only going to get worse. Maybe a little clear nail polish could work. Check your quality assurance department again. I am a knitter/crocheter. I know where I'm "stitching!" Maybe send me another tick H, for comfort! 🤪. Update: 7-3-21, so almost every one of these hooks has blemishes and burrs. Very dissatisfied and disappointed
