Great product with a very difficult install feature

We have ordered 35 of these products to replace all the old knobs in our house. They are of very high quality, standard spacing (can replace another brand handle in a standard door without modification) and are easy to install. HOWEVER, THE WAY OF ATTACHING THE LEVER TO THE SHAFT IS UNUSUAL AND THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT CLEAR! I called Baldwin to complain about the missing set screw and was told it was in the stock and not the arm. To assemble the lever, insert the Allen key into the hole in the lever and into the set screw. You then turn the set screw in the appropriate direction depending on whether the lever is right or left to tighten the set screw INSIDE the lever. To confuse matters further, when installing a wrench set, the set screw is on the opposite side of the shaft from the hole in the lever. You must INSERT the long wrench COMPLETELY THROUGH THE STEM ON THE KEY SIDE and into the set screw on the OPPOSITE side of the shaver to tighten it. The instructions don't say this so it's easy to think a set screw is missing as both the lever and shaft only have holes leading you to think the set screw is missing. Shame on Baldwin for doing this with another wise, beautiful, attractive product!
