I installed the entire line of Baldwin Madrina front door locks and deadbolts before finding out they were no longer made by Baldwin but by Kwikset after Black and Decker bought them in 2003. We have ordered 35 of these products to replace all the old knobs in our house. They are of very high quality, standard spacing (can replace another brand handle in a standard door without modification) and are easy to install. HOWEVER, THE WAY OF ATTACHING THE LEVER TO THE SHAFT IS UNUSUAL AND THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT CLEAR! I called Baldwin to complain about the missing set screw and was told it was in the stock and not the arm. To assemble the lever, insert the Allen key into the hole in the
