We had an internet speed problem for a while. The speed test showed we had no more than 50-60 Mbps, while Xfinity informed us that our internet connection had been boosted to 200 Mbps. Then one day I called Xfinity and I learned something new. My 2 year old router split the provided speed over 4 ports?! The rep then suggested I get a new one that has fewer ports on the back of the router and after some research I settled on this Netgear N600. So since we've had this router for the last 2-3 months, we've consistently had a speed in the 70-200 Mbps range. The only problem with it is that it has weak signals. I had to place it somewhere in the middle between all the rooms. That's what you pay for, what you get.
