Review on Nuk3Y Heavy 7 Inch Rubbed Bronze by Robert Hunter

Bought to replace the old one was stuck on a 20 year old door. Also, the protrusion that was supposed to accommodate the fingers to move the stylus up and down was bent inward because someone tried to forcefully lift the stylus(s). This replacement fits perfectly in the slot. However, I was disappointed to find that the new one doesn't move well at all. In fact, getting to the slider without the tool was almost impossible. I applied a few drops of 3 in 1 oil and it came out fine. It would be nice if the design improved a bit. The tab you place your fingers on can bend inward from too much pressure. This would be difficult by hand without tools, but not impossible. As far as I can tell, this replacement looks like an exact replica of the old one, including the same flaws.
