Review on πŸ”§ Fulton Precision Miter Gauge: Standard Slot (3/4” x 3/8”) Steel Bar, Adjustable Spring Loaded Plungers, Removable Retaining Disc by Ken Barnett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Locking disc cannot be removed (without additional measures)

The Phillips screw that holds the locking disc was so tight and the material of the screw is so brittle that the head snapped the first time you tried to loosen, detached . My corner slot doesn't fit the lock washer, as I can't remove the lock washer now this tool is useless to me and going back to Revain. UPDATE: I returned the original item very quickly and received another one. I saw another reviewer write that he had to drill out the lock washer it was so tight. This time, without risking it, I filled the screw with boxed WD-40 and then put the whole thing in the freezer for half an hour (on the theory that metal shrinks in the cold). I don't know if the last one was defective or if my idea worked, but it was relatively easy. As others have reported a similar issue, here's an idea for the manufacturer. Stick your head out of the office and yell at the machine guys to set the machine to take a few pounds of torque from the propeller. Easy to fix. Please.
