Better Than Him Mora

I also have Mora hook knives which I think are pretty good but this Beavercraft hook knife is actually better. The blade appears to be made from a heavier material, giving it a stronger and tougher feel. It also came well polished and razor sharp. The handle is made of a darker, denser wood than the Mora, but it is also slightly bulkier and heavier. It has a good shape but can be too bulky for those with small hands. Otherwise I consider it a better hook knife than the comparable Mora.

Pros
  • Spoon Knife Hooked Edge: The edge of our hooked knife is very sharp and strong to cut both softwoods and hardwoods like oak or walnut.
Cons
  • Discontinued
