I was looking for a piece of iron to tether all my USB 3 devices to a PC and I found it! I wish PC makers would just reroute the two cables and give us more USB 3 ports, but my guess is the sales department. tells them otherwise, so let's do what we can (the difference between USB 2 and 3 is significant). I connected 2 external USB 3 drives to my PC and the powered hub also offered 2 additional ports for charging my wireless mouse and keyboard. Just plug an HDMI cable into my system and I have a fully functional media center, 3D modeling tool and full internet access through my laptop. All in all a great solution.
