Review on ABN Snap Ring Pliers 11 Piece by Jeremy Jackz

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good selection but poor quality

Various sizes of circlip pliers are required for the restoration of motorcycles. There's a good range here, but they're too bulky and oddly shaped to fit into small spaces. The casting is bad and most of them are misaligned. I bought them specifically to remove the locking rings in the master cylinder and the needle jet in carburetors. They're too thick and bulky to fit in those tight spots. Had to buy a pair of singles to use in my application. My new ones work great. I kept them because I thought I might use them someday, but I never got around to using them once. As I said, awkward and uncomfortable positioning. I changed how it works by moving the handle so they can remove the retaining ring by squeezing the handles. They are installed in reverse, which makes no sense. I hope I can still use them for something, but be careful. The quality leaves a lot to be desired, some pins don't line up and actually look like they might break if subjected to any stress. Maybe good for homeowners and newbies messing around, but really useless for those who really work with cars or bikes at home. And certainly not for a professional.
