Continental tires were installed on the Opel Astra after the no less famous Michelin brand. The main selection criterion was tires that will not disappoint after the tires that were used before, almost the same price category, but it seemed to me that the declared performance indicators were better, namely handling and acoustic comfort. So far it is difficult to talk about the wear resistance of the tire, but in principle the tire has almost fully met all expectations. I was a little embarrassed by the soft sidewall of the tire, I believe that this is a kind of retribution for a comfortable ride, the rubber, as it were, swallows all the irregularities of the asphalt road, but more serious pits should be treated very carefully (there is a fear that the tire can be seriously damaged). I was pleased with the choice, in the future I may add comments about wear.
