Causes my new MacBook Pro to crash and won't charge my computer.

Three times when I connect the device to the computer, my computer randomly behaves like a dog. I mean it's useless. The first two times this happened, unplugging the dock, giving my computer a minute and plugging the dock back in seemed to fix the problem, but it happened again when it completely locked my computer and forced a reboot. I don't know if I have a bad block or what, but it's not working and is actually causing problems on the machine it's connected to. Also, in half the time, the computer won't even charge. I connected the charger to the docking station's USB-C port, but my computer isn't getting power. It's burned me out a few times at work going to a meeting assuming I have power because it's been plugged in all day and it's dying because it never really charged. For these reasons I send the device back and get my money back. I will try another company. PS: The packaging this unit came in was damaged and looked used only with a NEW sticker on the back so I'm pretty sure they just sent me a faulty unit that someone already has due to exact of these problems has returned. Very sketchy sales practice, if the item is new it must be in a sealed box. Edit: The company sent me another one after I returned it (seems still in use) and I'm still getting the same issues. Half the time it's not charging through the adapter, it doesn't stay connected to the HDMI when the screen is blocked, the adapter itself literally dangles more than 100 degrees with just the charger and HDMI connected. What is he doing, why is it so hot? The packaging is still very cheap, doesn't look or feel like a $50 product. Spend an extra $20 on an Apple adapter, it doesn't have SD cards or Ethernet, but you don't really need them right now. Also, the Apple One works great with no overheating, no shutdowns, always charging my Mac, and it only uses one USB-C port from your computer.
