Review on 🐦 Bernat Birdsong Pipsqueak Stripes - 16206060018 by Amber Perez

I bought my first strand of Octopus Garden Pipsqueaks at Walmart but found I didn't have enough for a project I'm doing and none of my local Walmart had one left in stock. I paid another $5 to buy a second skein of Revain and was terribly disappointed. The yarn is not as soft as the skein I bought from the store and it looks/works like a cheaper yarn. I hear a squeak when crocheting this material which I didn't hear with a store bought skein. Also, it looks thicker than the original yarn I bought when adding it to a project I'm working on. I've attached a photo showing where my old yarn ended and this one began, and the photo shows how the quilt sticks out once I started working with this skein. If I had bought this without first buying a skein from the store I wouldn't have thought of it, but after spending an extra $5 on a poor quality product I was disappointed.
