Review on Optimize Fluid Control with Derale 25792 Thermostat Kit: A Must-Have for Efficiency by Jack Boldt

Just installed on my 77 MGB oil cooler system. No mounting bracket required. I bought 1/2 inch brass ends from my local Lowes store in addition to thread tape called Megatape which is thicker than teflon tape. After sealing the brass threads, I installed each end of the thermostat with a 13/16" spark plug. pulling them down. My rubber hoses trimmed and installed as directed, each secured with a 1" zip tie. Got the car for a long drive The thermostat worked as specified and no leaks were found It took about an hour.
