It was a good buy. I installed it on an AMD A8-7600 so this is the older part. I think 65 watts. I was concerned at first because it's a 3-pin and not a 4-pin so I can't control the fan speed via the motherboard UEFI, but it keeps the CPU cool with little to no fan noise. One caveat, however, when I first installed the cooler was it was in a slim package. Fall and keep the processor only about 10 degrees cooler than the maximum rated TDP. I've since upgraded to a medium tower hull and temperatures have gotten much cooler as there is more space. That is, with an exhaust fan. Now the CPU temperature has dropped to around 40. I think if I add an intake fan or two the temp will get even better. Great little cooler for $10 and even comes with thermal paste.
