My house is full of cheap folding doors. If you have them, you know they are made of glued sawdust. Thus, the pivot points easily fall into the hole in the door. I tried many different glues and used wood putty. One of my doors got so bad I just took it off and threw it in the garage because I was fed up. Buying a higher quality new door is quite expensive, and if your house is full of them, it becomes very, very expensive. In a word, these brackets work like a charm. Just a warning. As they slide on the outside of the door, remove a small gap. If you need top and bottom brackets, multiply that by 2. If your door is barely squeezable, you can still get it to work, but you may need to remove the top metal track by placing it on top of the door. Door with hardware installed, reattach the door + rail and screw the rail back onto the jamb. That's not a problem with this product, it's just the nature of things. In any case, this product works very well. I bought a couple of these for all the folding doors in my house. If someone tells me that they have the same folding door problems as me, I can recommend this product in good conscience.
