Corresponds to the description for fittings

Door restored, now it works like a new door, easy to assemble. No new holes were made in the frames. I would recommend if your door keeps failing.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • No performance

This product works great

This product works great. The hole in the bottom of the double doors was dented. I just had to slide it over the hole and screw in 1 screw to hold it in place and then insert the axle. An alternative would be to buy a new folding door.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some flaws

I fixed my recessed pin on the bottom of the door

It is such a common problem with double doors that the wood will split or sink. I don't know why the manufacturers don't add some more wood and build a slightly better door. My door was about two months old and the floor was sinking. This has completely resolved the issue and it is expected that other doors will be fixed if the issue occurs.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Pretty good

These did their job!

Used to fix the bottom axle on the double cabinet door, great! It only took 15 minutes to attach the new bottom hinge. I have ordered 2 packs of these as well as a few packs of hinges and 2 packs of hardware for the top of this type of door as well as PrimeLine products. Just for the future…. Good product, does what it's supposed to and fixed the problem, thanks!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • There are downsides

Perfect solution for double door

I was just about to replace a double door that was cracked on the top and bottom pins. I discovered these brackets and figured out what I have to lose. As the door itself was a bit wider due to a gap in the wood, the brackets needed a bit of work to fit into place. After installation they did their job and now my doors are working great.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Great price

Super light for door hardware and locks

Our folding doors were cheap chipboard and hollow in the middle. The hole that was supposed to hold the roller was punched. We worked on decommissioned closet doors for a year before I finally settled on this project. Who would have thought it would be so easy. The bracket slides right over the hole and a simple screw holds it in place. Then simply insert the roller into the hole in the metal bracket and put the door back on. The whole process took about 10 minutes and was very intuitive. All…

  • An absolute legend

Allows repair of double leaf door stays in most cases

This bracket made the necessary repair of double leaf doors much easier for me when I hadn't received it. The repair was made to the underside of one of the double doors in my guest room where the hardboard was broken. The fiberboard floor panel, not properly supported by the door panel, carried the full weight of the door; eventually cracked and broke. Using a bracket I bought I was able to pull out the fiberboard and glue it to the front panels. I then correctly added the support bracket. It…

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Weight

What you need

My house is full of cheap folding doors. If you have them, you know they are made of glued sawdust. Thus, the pivot points easily fall into the hole in the door. I tried many different glues and used wood putty. One of my doors got so bad I just took it off and threw it in the garage because I was fed up. Buying a higher quality new door is quite expensive, and if your house is full of them, it becomes very, very expensive. In a word, these brackets work like a charm. Just a warning. As they…
